Neat place! Easy to get to from Saint-Étienne without car: take T1 or T3 to Terrasse and wait for C1, get off at the last stop.

Castle is unquiely postioned at town near Saint Etienne. Inside the castle can be covered within an hour and half but outside the park is awesome to roam around and enjoy the ecology. Make sure its not raining and not too warm outside to maximise the trip

Very beautiful castle with an interesting museum. The garden is pleasant too with some cute farm animals. I definitely recommend the Boutheon castle.

A great little castle to visit with the family and very diverse: culture, history with the castle, wildlife to observe in the aquariums and farms and currently a fun exhibition on Playmobil tales. ♿️ Be careful for people with reduced mobility, there will be a few steps to take to visit certain rooms but overall, the elevators make the visit with a manual chair very easy. Thanks to the castle for the welcome. 🏰

Great visit to the castle in 1h30 if you go quickly. 2 hours if we are precise. With aquariums downstairs, and animals in the park. Allow a whole afternoon to visit everything and take your time! 9€ for park and castle visit. To do in good weather with a little picnic! Great visit to recommend when visiting the area!

Very beautiful castle, the visit is fun and interactive, perfect for a family outing. The park is very beautiful, the farm animals are numerous and the place is very pleasant. The castle belongs to the City and it is very, very well maintained. The price of the visit is very reasonable for such a castle (around 9 euros/adult).
